Blastrock

Originally consisting of three members, they released a handful of records and were making lots of noise all around Scandinavia. In late 2002 bassist Joakim Bröms was discharged from the group to pursue an international career as a war-reporter. He was replaced by Harri Kolari from the band Dipper, and while in the process of changing the line-up the band decided to try out a vocalist as well. They ended up with longtime fan and old drinking-friend Jonas Polling on vocals.

In 2003 they released an album on the Swedish label Zorch , getting good reviews. In spite of this, 2004 was more or less inactive year but Blastrock recorded some new material and played a few gigs.
